• For Clients

Book a behaviour consultation with Dr. Hynes for your dog, cat, horse!

Initial consultations are between 1.5-2hrs in length and are typically performed in your home.

Your veterinarian or trainer can refer you, or you can contact us directly through the website or by email to make an inquiry. We will send you a comprehensive questionnaire to complete before we call or email to book your appointment. A deposit is required at the time of booking . Please contact us directly for pricing as per the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association, we cannot disclose pricing on our website.

Follow-ups are a combination of home visits and phone or video calls.

  • For Veterinarians

Sentient Veterinary Care is ready to accept your clients for veterinary behaviour consultations. We accept canine, feline, and equine referrals, and will also accept other species if contacted!

Please contact us through the website or by email and we will send you a referral form and request complete medical records. A recent exam, bloodwork and urinalysis are encouraged, as well as additional diagnostics if indicated, however we understand that not all patients are amenable to an initial workup and we are here to support the process.

We are always happy to collaborate with our wonderful local veterinary community - so please do not hesitate to reach out!

  • Seminars and Workshops

We are looking forward to sharing veterinary behaviour-focused seminars, continuing education, and workshops with the veterinary community as our practice and Dr. Hynes’s residency program develops.

Please stay tuned for these opportunities and follow our social media for the most recent updates. We also use social media to share information, tips and tricks with fellow veterinary colleagues, so be sure to click “follow”!

Have an idea for a Continuing Education event and want to host Dr. Hynes? Please feel free to contact us!
