Book a behaviour consultation with Dr. Hynes for your dog, cat, horse!
Initial consultations are typically 1.5hrs in length and performed in your home (Calgary Area).
Virtual consultations are available if an in-home consultation is not an option for you (ie: outside Calgary) but your primary veterinarian must refer you and be involved in your pet’s case.
Your veterinarian can refer you through our Veterinarian Referral Portal, or you can contact us directly through the website or by email to make an inquiry. We will send you a comprehensive questionnaire and consent form to complete before we will email to book your appointment, and a booking deposit will be collected.
Please contact us directly for pricing as per the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association, we cannot disclose pricing on our website.
Follow-ups are a combination of home visits and phone or video calls.
For Veterinarians
Sentient Veterinary Care can accept your clients for veterinary behaviour consultations.
Please contact us through our Veterinarian Referral Portal by creating an account and submitting a referral. We accept canine, feline, and equine referrals, and may also accept other species if contacted.
Our services include in-home client consultations, virtual consultations, and vet to vet consultations.
A recent exam, bloodwork and urinalysis are encouraged, as well as additional diagnostics if indicated, however we understand that not all patients are amenable to an initial workup and we are here to support the process.
We are always happy to collaborate with our wonderful local veterinary community - so please do not hesitate to reach out!
Seminars and Workshops
Dr Hynes is available for behaviour-focused workshops or seminars online or in-person for your vet clinic or other organizations.
